Normally the screen of the TSync 1.0 appears as shown below.
There are four distinct parts as
1. Destination Company in Tally.
Open Companies List: This allows the user to select a Company from the List of the Open Companies in Tally.
Refresh Button: This allows the user to fetch a fresh list of the companies opened in Tally.
2. Data Source.
Excel: This allows user to select a MS Excel file. By clicking Source Button user can locate the Excel file on the computer.
Access: This allows user to select a MS Access file. By clicking Source Button user can locate the Excel file on the computer. If the file is Password protected then the user can enter the User Name and Password in their respective fields.
ODBC: This Tab allows the user to fetch the data from any ODBC compliant database like MySQL, ORACLE, MS SQL etc. for this the user must create a DSN in from the Control Panel>Administrative Tools> Data Sources (ODBC). Here user can enter the same DSN Name, User Name and Password.
Connection String: Coming Soon.
3. Imported Data.
In this under the Imported Data List it shows the complete view of the data imported from the Data Source.
4. Format Selection & Action to perform.
>>Select Import Type<<: It shows the list of the Import Types or Standard Data Formats available in the given Data Source. These Data Formats are linked by Table Name or Worksheet Name. so it is important to have the Same Table Name or Worksheet Name along with the Column Names as per given by the Developers of TSync 1.0.
Post Button: This button will Intimate the user that the actual dat posting process will start by clicking YES.
Close Button: After clicking the Close Button the Tsync application will be closed.
