This format is used to Create/Alter the Ledger Groups or simply known as Groups in the Tally.
Columns in LedgerGroups:
Name
Data Type: Text.
Field In Tally: Name
Description: Name of the Ledger Group. It is the Primary Key in the Ledgers. If the name already exists in Tally then the old record will be replaced with the new record.
NameAlias
Data Type: Text.
Field In Tally: (alias)
Description: Name Alias for the Ledger Group.
Parent
Data Type: Text.
Field In Tally: Under
Description: Name of the Parent Group.
SubLedger
Data Type: Fixed Values. (Yes/No)
Field In Tally: Group behaves like a Sub-Ledger.
Description: Specify whether the Group behaves as a Sub-Ledger inTally.
